Afrori books is delighted to host Lizzie Damilola Blackburn as she introduces her incredible new novel The Re-Write, a story about second chances, staying true to yourself, and what happens when your ex becomes your next writing assignment. Lizzie will be chatting about writing characters who stay true to themselves, creating authentic London rom-coms, and how real life might inspire fiction. 

They flirt, date, meet each other's friends. Then they break up. And Wale goes on a reality dating show.  Temi throws herself into her dream: writing. She's within touching distance of a book deal that would solve all her problems. But publishers keep passing on her novel and bills still have to be paid.

So, when the opportunity to ghost-write a celebrity autobiography arises, Temi accepts. And, of course, the celebrity turns out to be Wale...
