Author of 20 books and a number of short stories and other works. Journalist and award winning author Dorothy Koomson was recognised as one of the United Kingdom's 100 most influential people of African or African Caribbean heritage. She is a contemporary British novelist of Ghanaian descent and has been described as "Britain's biggest selling black author of adult fiction" Koomson's work has been translated into 30+ languages. Her degree in psychology certainly helps create edge of your seat thrillers. She currently lives in Brighton, which is the main setting for her latest stories.
Leodora Darlington is a writer from London with Ghanaian heritage. She received a distinction for her Masters in Creative Writing from Brunel University, where she studied under authors like Benjamin Zephaniah and Will Self. A Bookseller Rising Star in 2021, Leodora is also an editor and has published a range of bestselling fiction. The Exes is her debut novel.
"In Conversation" has grown into a remarkable event series at Afrori Books.
