Come and join us in our Brighton shop to hear two incredible authors talking about their books, mental health and the importance of family and healing. An evening that you won’t want to miss, full of unforgettable conversations.

Donna Lancaster - Donna Lancaster has worked as a coach and therapist for more than 30 years. She was formerly the head of teaching at the Hoffman Institute UK. She co-created The Bridge Retreat, a six-day personal development experience. She has an Amazon Prime documentary called Love(d) which shares the stories of 12 people during The Bridge Retreat as they take the leap to overcome grief and loss in their lives. Donna's work has been featured in The Telegraph, Psychologies. Evening Standard, Huffington Post, Balance, Conde Nast and Tatler.

The Bridge- Donna's programme will empower you with the tools and support you need to gain clarity, identify what has hurt you, and learn how to release the pain, fear and anger keeping you trapped.  This book is for anyone who is experiencing pain, heartbreak, sadness or overwhelming emotion, and can't seem to get beyond it. All of us want to be able to live with more compassion, The Bridge will help us get there.

Jordan Stephens - Jordan is a writer, performer and campaigner. He's also passionate about books and reading. The Missing Piece is his first picture book. Having been publicly open about his own struggles surrounding mental health, Jordan has also been very active in creating awareness around the stigma attached to it and helping young people to open up about how they feel. His mental-health campaign #IAMWHOLE reached over 120 million people online and made enough of an impact to be mentioned in the Houses of Parliament.

The Missing Piece - Sunny loves jigsaw puzzles. When she completes one, she gets a warmbuzz. One day, her gran gives her a ONE-THOUSAND-PIECE puzzle. Piece after piece, all by herself, she puts together the picture, until … DISASTER! The final piece is missing. Sunny may be small, but she is very determined – so she sets off to find it. As the day whizzes by, Sunny discovers that looking for something is every bit as fun as finding it, and that perhaps the missing piece was there all along …

Each ticket purchase comes with a £6 discount on either book. This can only be redeemed during the event.
